Nate has been a lifetime resident of the northern metro growing up in Champlin and graduating high school at Champlin Park. Nate meet his future wife in the 10th grade and married her in 2001. While in high school Nate focused his studies on Emergency Medicine and wanted to become a Paramedic badly.
After graduating high school Nate went on to earn his Paramedic from Century college and went to work in outstate Minnesota for a rural hospital and a small division of a large trauma center here in the Twin Cities. His love for working in a 911 Advanced Life Support Ambulance fueled his insane work schedule. Nate retired from full time active duty in 2010 after 15 years of serving the public. He remains licensed a Paramedic and volunteers with various organizations using his Paramedic skills.
He is also the founder and president of Scene Clean, Inc. taking care of families and crime victims in one of the most crucial time in their lives. He holds numerous OSHA certifications for various skills needed for the often times difficult job.
Nate Berg got into real estate in 2003 while he and his wife Jen, were pregnant with their first child. Looking to provide extra income so his wife could work less he stumbled into real estate as an investor. The first home he worked with was in need of some work and was a short sale. Having issues with the Realtor he choose to help sell the home he decided it was time to get his own real estate license.
After having a short sale transaction right from the start Nate was hooked in that niche of the business. Long before many agents let alone the public knew what a short sale was Nate had already performed a successful transaction. After getting his license he worked for a small group that also focused on new construction and land development. The first year he was in business he was rookie of the year with that company.
Over the years Nate has continued to work hard for his clients and never strayed from his initial reasons for getting licensed which included making sure clients feel important and have an agent who is responsive in their needs and questions. In 2011 Nate took his career a step further and obtained his Brokers license with the intent on branching off on his own.
Nate is now the managing broker of National Realty Guild in Maple Grove. He is very excited about this achievement and looks forward to many years helping both his agents and clients be successful in real estate.
